Koukaku (Shining Shell)

Koukaku is a Special ability in Anime Fighting Simulator Endless. It is one of the four main Kagune types from Tokyo Ghoul, characterized by its high density and weight. It forms a shield or a heavy blade on the user’s arm.

This is the “Tank” Kagune. If you want to absorb damage and hit back with heavy, slow strikes, choose Koukaku.

Abilities & Moveset

Koukaku focuses on defense and heavy melee hits.

1. Heavy Slash

  • Description: A slow but powerful swing of the Koukaku blade.
  • Type: Melee
  • Damage: High
  • Tactical Tip: High wind-up, so time it carefully.

2. Shield Block

  • Description: The user raises their Koukaku to block incoming damage.
  • Type: Defense
  • Effect: Reduces damage taken by 80-90%.
  • Tactical Tip: Essential for surviving boss ultimates.

3. Spiraling Thrust

  • Description: The user spins the blade like a drill and thrusts forward.
  • Type: Gap Closer / Guard Break
  • Effect: Pierces shields.
  • Tactical Tip: Use this to punish blocking enemies.

Is it too slow?

It is the slowest Kagune, but it makes up for it with raw damage and defense. If you prefer speed, try Ukaku.

Can it block everything?

It can block most direct damage, but AoE zones or “True Damage” attacks might still hurt you.
